For Elderhostel Inc. of Boston, Massachusetts, USA, over four years, between 1996-2000 we operated as many as 41 educational travel groups!

After taking our unique, specially designed programs, as many as 1,090 Elderhostel program participants went back home with a special insight into the history and culture of India!

PROGRAMS OPERATED BY US FOR: The Friendship Force

Our Managing Director, Mr Pulin Trivedi, has been associated with The Friendship Force Inc. Atlanta GA, since 1990, and has established The Friendship Force of India, a Charitable Trust organization which aims to promote international peace through Citizen Exchange Programs

Individuals participating in exchange programs are called ‘Friendship Ambassadors’. They travel in groups from one country to another under club to club exchanges stay with local host families observing and participating in their way of life.

To learn more about the country being visited, after the home-hosting,, Friendship Ambassadors are offered a 10-15 day tour

Since 1990, Exchanges from USA, Germany, Japan, Belgium, Netherlands and Russia have been hosted by The Friendship Force of India.

And

Friendship Festivals have been hosted by us that have had among the largest attendances of Friendship festivals anywhere in the world!

SEMESTER ABROAD PROGRAMS OPERATED BY US FOR : SUNY

Since 1990, we have collaborated with SUNY, Oneonta Campus, upstate New York, in numerous Semester Abroad Programs
under which student groups visit India for a period of 12 weeks

An intensive academic program is organized for them comprising a series of lectures, voluntary field work, and tests, concluding with a paper reading by each student.

Study programs include learning Hindi Language, Hindu Philosophy, Indian History, Indian Society and various other subjects under the discipline of Humanities.

At the end of their semester in India, students have an opportunity of earning up to 16 credits for their studies here.

Airawat has also operated many of SUNY’s Intersession Programs wherein the group consists of Professors and students
