Upon arrival you would be met and transferred to the hotel. |
Day 02 – Delhi |
Full day sightseeing of Red
Fort, Rajghat, India Gate, Rashtrapati
Bhawan (President’s Palace), Qutub
Minar Complex & Humayun’s Tomb. |
Day 03 – Delhi / Shekhawati |
Drive to Shekhawati, a region also known as ‘Open-Air-Art-Gallery
of Rajasthan’ and check in at a Heritage Hotel (former
palace / fort). Later sightseeing of Painted
Havelis, ancient mansions profusely decorated with
frescoes. |
Day 04 – Shekhawati / Khimsar |
After breakfast, drive to Khimsar – small village at
the edge of Great Thar Desert - and check in at 16th Century
Khimsar Fort. At your leisure, explore the Fort. |
Day 05 – Khimsar / Jaisalmer |
After breakfast drive to Jaisalmer- town on the ancient Silk
Route - & check in at a hotel. In the evening stroll through
the town to see Salim Singh
Ki Haveli & Patwon
Ki Haveli – noblemen’s mansions, lavishly
decorated with carvings, and, Gadi
Sagar Lake, surrounded by temples and shrines. |
Day 06 – Jaisalmer |
Today see the Jaisalmer Fort,
which still houses 2,500 citizens within its walls. Later
visit to see the golden Sam
Sand Dunes, and enjoy a camel ride in the desert. |
Day 07 – Jaisalmer / Jodhpur |
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur, the former Capital of the
awesome Rathores & check in at hotel. In the evening visit
Mehrangarh Fort sprawled
atop a hill & Jaswant
Thada, the royal cenotaphs. |
Day 08 – Jodhpur / Ranakpur / Udaipur |
After breakfast drive to Udaipur – the city of lakes.
En route visit Ranakpur
Jain Temples built in 15th
century AD, containing a riot of 1444 richly carved columns
no two alike. Proceed to Udaipur and check in at hotel. |
Day 09 – Udaipur |
Today see City Palace + Museum
of the second oldest living dynasty of the world & Folk
Art Museum. |
Day 10 – Udaipur / Jaipur |
After breakfast transfer to the airport and fly to Jaipur,
the Pink City. Transfer to check in at hotel. Later sightseeing
of Hawa Mahal, City Palace
+ Museum & Jantar Mantar – the Royal Observatory
built out of brick and mortar in early
18th century. |
Day 11 – Jaipur |
Today see Fortress Palace
Of Amber, the former Capital of the Jaipur Rulers &
enjoy an ELEPHANT RIDE there. Later visit Birla
Temple - a living Hindu Temple. |
Day 12 – Jaipur / Fatehpur Sikri / Agra |
After breakfast drive to Agra, the city of The Taj. En-route
visit Fatehpur Sikri
a 16th century capital of The Great Mughals. Proceed to Agra
& check in at the hotel. |
Day 13 – Agra / Delhi |
Early morning sightseeing of The Taj
Mahal at sunrise. After breakfast visit Agra
Fort. Later drive to Delhi visiting Great Mughal Akbar’s
Tomb, Sikandra en route.
At Delhi transfer to airport to connect flight home. |
