After breakfast drive to Agra. En route visit Sikandra,

– Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Jaipur |
Early morning sightseeing of The
Taj Mahal at sunrise. After breakfast depart
for Jaipur – the Pink City - by road, en route
visiting Fatehpur
Sikri, another Mughal Capital built during
1569-72AD. At Jaipur check-in at the hotel.

Mahal, City Palace + Museum & Jantar Mantar,
the Royal Observatory built in early 18th century.
Evening free for independent activities e.g. shopping

Today see Fortress Palace
Of Amber, the former Capital of the Jaipur Rulers &
enjoy an ELEPHANT RIDE there. Later drive to Delhi. |

01 – Delhi / Neemrana |
|
After breakfast drive to Neemrana & check in
at Neemrana Fort,
constructed in 13th century AD and now a Heritage
hotel. Time free to explore the Fort and enjoy evening
tea on its ramparts.

02 –Neemrana / Shekhawati |
After breakfast drive to Shekhawati, also known
as open-air-art-gallery of Rajasthan. Check in at
a Heritage Hotel. In the evening enjoy PUPPET SHOW
at the hotel with bonfire.

Day 03 – Shekhawati / Delhi |
After breakfast sightseeing of PAINTED
HAVELIS that are old mansions of traders profusely
decorated with frescos. Later drive to Delhi. |

01 – Delhi / Amritsar |
Early morning our staff will transfer you to
the railway station to connect train SHATABDI
EXPRESS (0720/1305) to Amritsar. Upon
your arrival you will be transferred to hotel
for check-in. In the afternoon, our guide
will take you to Wagah
Border, where every evening, just before
sunset, the Indian and Pakistani military meet
at the border to engage - in closing the border.
It's a ceremony of pure theatre conducted with
pride and posturing, but acted in unbelievable
harmony. Later, drive back to the hotel
for overnight. |

Day 02 – Amritsar / Delhi |
After breakfast check out of the hotel where our guide
will take you for a city tour including the visit to Jallianwala
Bagh, a park commemorating the 2000 Indians who
were killed or wounded by the British authorities in 1919.
Proceed to Golden
Temple - The Sikhs- holiest shrine - with
its golden dome, representing an inverted flower, a symbol
of Sikhism's aim to live a pure life. Later, visit
Ram Bagh
Museum, which used to be Maharaja Ranjit
Singh's (1780-1839) summer palace, housing a huge collection
of weapons, paintings and manuscripts. Also visit the
16th century Sri Durgiana
Temple, a Hindu version of the Golden
Temple, dedicated to the goddess Durga.
In the afternoon, you will be transferred to connect train SHATABDI EXPRESS (1705/2250) to Delhi. |

RISHIKESH - GANGES

01 –DELHI / RISHIKESH |
After a leisurely breakfast, check out and depart
directly by AC Toyota Qualis for Rishikesh -
located on the banks of River Ganges where the
holy river begins to emerge from the mountains
into the plains. (Lunch suggested at a
resort en-route). At Rishikesh, check
in at the hotel. In the evening, proceed to
the nearby holy town of Haridwar to see the Aarti on the Ganges
- worship of the river performed with oil lamps
at Har-ki-Pauri at sunset. Return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 02 –RISHIKESH |
After breakfast, drive out on a excursion into the foothills
of Himalayas to Devprayag
where the rivers Alaknanda & Bhagirathi meet to form
the mighty Ganges.
In the afternoon explore Rishikesh seeing the numerous
Hindu temples and Ashrams
on the banks of the river, and Lakshman
Jhoola - picturesque suspension bridge
spanning it. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the
hotel. |
Day 03 –RISHIKESH / DELHI |
Morning at leisure. Later, check out and drive back
to Delhi by AC car.

01 – Mumbai / Aurangabad |
After breakfast transfer to airport to connect flight
for Aurangabad where you would be transferred &
checked in at the hotel. Later visit Ellora
Caves carved during 5th to 8th century AD,
marvelous example of cave architecture, where ancients
of yore carved out caves and created complete temples
etc within. Also view Kailash
Temple (a World Heritage Site), an awesome
temple carved out of living rock by removing 20
million tones of rock in 2nd half of 8th century
AD.

After breakfast take a full day excursion to Ajanta
Caves carved during 2nd century BC to 5th
century AD, world
famous for its frescos.
