| Day 01 –
In / Mumbai |
| Upon arrival
you would be met and transferred to the hotel. |
Day 02 – Mumbai / Cochin |
After breakfast transfer to connect flight for Cochin. At
Cochin, transfer & check in to the hotel. Later visit
the Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry
Palace - gift from the Dutch to Cochin’s Maharaja
– and, Fort Cochin.
In the evening see performance of KATHAKALI - classical dance
form of Kerala. |
Day 03 – Cochin |
After breakfast visit St Francis
Church where the remains of Vasco Da Gama were interred
for a while, and the Chinese
Fishing Nets. Afternoon at leisure, e.g to take a stroll
on Cochin’s main street to experience some local colour.

| Day 04 –
Cochin / Munnar |
After breakfast drive to Munnar, a hill station nestled in
the lovely Nilgiri Hills, and check in at the hotel. Day at
leisure to explore the quaint town and the tea estates surrounding
it. |
| Day 05 –
Munnar / Thekkady |
After breakfast drive to Thekkady and check in at the hotel.
Later take a BOAT SAFARI on Lake
Periyar to see the wild life especially elephants in
the jungles around the lake. |
| Day 06 –
Thekkady / Kumarakom |
After breakfast drive through picturesque hills with tea
estates to Kumarakom, visiting a Spice
Plantation en route. At Kumarakom, transfer to a resort
on the shores of Lake Vembanad. Evening free to relax at the
resort or to take a SUNSET CRUISE on the lake. |
| Day 07 –
Kumarakom |
After breakfast enjoy the fabled Backwaters
Cruise of Kerala, seeing the life style of the people
there as well as doing some bird-watching. Evening at leisure
to enjoy the sunset over the lake, have an Ayrvedic oil massage,
or simply relax by the poolside. |
Day 08 – Kumarakom / Cochin / Mumbai |
After breakfast, drive
to Cochin to connect flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival in Mumbai,
transfer to the hotel. Evening
at leisure. |
| Day 09 –
Mumbai / Out |
After breakfast take a drive downtown to see Marine
Drive or the Queens’s Necklace, Gothic Victoria
Terminus Railway Station, Rajabai
Tower & Dhobi Talao, where the city’s laundry
is done manually. Later at night transfer to International
airport to connect flight home.
